Make sure this one makes it into your shopping cart. Do it or walk the plank! Like many cooking enthusiasts, I enjoy reading cookbooks the way other people read high suspense mysteries and Explorers Cookbook and Travel Guide fits the bill. It really appeals to my penchant for armchair travel. You are swept away with the trade winds and a taste of salt in the air. Yvonne Addairo has created a celebration of the aromatic, sweet and tart, spicy and mild flavors of the region underscored with the need to understand and appreciate the history behind the food.
